It started with a small endowment of the CIPI founder's private books collection and antiques.

Today it contains over 1000 volumes in social sciences, 900 iconic films and 300 recordings.

It is a unique site with a nineteenth century flavor. It welcomes guests to read, discuss, listen to music, watch a film, and enjoy a good wine or a good cigar.
